Wouri coffee table took its name from the star named after a river in Cameroon. This object is born out of contemplating water and plasticity contrast of its conditions.
The levitating metal base, smooth and almost mirroring, symbolizes the ice. A colorful splash on the table top is a drop caught by a viewer’s eye and frozen at the moment. Its naïve shape looks especially pretty on the background of a rigid metal square. The acute contrast of the elements’ plasticity is the heart of the Wouri tables’ concept.
